Self Defense- Commando
Krav Maga
Students learn basic
self defenses from chokes, punches, knives, and guns. Students also learn
proper falling, hand-to-hand techniques, and the location of pressure points on
the human body to influence an attacker's behavior.
Fitness- Core
If you want a
class that targets your but and guts, this is it! Our Core Strength
class will tone your abdominals and tighten your buttocks with this strength
and conditioning workout.
You'll also increase your muscle
definition while improving your balance, agility and coordination. The class incorporates Pilates
as its base and uses props (BOSU balls, fitness circles,
hand weights and medicine balls) to add an extra challenge and fun to
this highly effective workout!
Combatives
This class covers all types of striking used in fighting and self defense
situations (punches, kicks, elbows, knees, headbutts, etc). Padwork, heavybag
and situational stress drills mixed with calisthenics and plyometric exercises
to condition your body and mind will give you the "tools" you need to
get into fighting shape fast!

Kettlebell
All of classes involve extreme conditioning The classes will will challenge you both physically and mentally with a
variety of exercises using body weight resistance, plyometrics, drills,
obstacle courses, etc. Its goal is to help you build muscle strength, stamina
and endurance. Not only will you gain those things but you’ll experience a
sense of accomplishments and confidence you didn’t even know existed within
you.
NOTE:
- Members
enrolled in the self defense classes may attend their class level, and one
level below, as often as they choose.
- Class
sizes are limited – please arrive 5-10 minutes early for check-in.
- Proper
athletic shoes (white soled or non-marking only) and workout towels are
mandatory.
- Dress
code is highly recommended for Commando Krav Maga classes: Training pants,
Commando Krav Maga t-shirt and proper athletic shoes.
